Born in Charleston, WV.  He grew up in Ripley, WV (believe it or not!) where he developed a love for Southern Gospel Music by hearing a local gospel group called the Homebound Gospel Quartet.

After college, Chris started out ministering as a chaplain for International Union Rescue Gospel Missions. This included sing in churches in the West Virginia region.

Ministering for over 16 years in Southern Gospel Music as a soloist, evangelist, Pastoring and singing with Gospel groups.  Chris says, “I still love setting up the sound system because it is another opportunity to make an impact in a life for the cause of Christ.

Chris ultimately could not do what he does without the support of his bride and three children. “My children know daddy goes out and sings, and some Sundays they expect it.”   When they know, support, and enjoy what Chris does, he says it makes so much easier to travel all the miles.

Chris says,  “I love what I do, and I do what I love,”

Hunter  is home schooled at Creative Christian Learning and helps his Dad on the farm and rebuilding diesel motors on buses.  In his spare time he likes to play his video games and watch TV.

He developed a love for Southern Gospel music at the age of 9 when a quartet sang at his church.  The following year when the quartet came back to the church, he asked if he could sing a song with them, the quartet liked him and after church wanted him to sing with them at other churches and jubilees.  This is when he started traveling and singing at the age of 10 with the Revelations Quartet from Florence MS.  Two years later Hunter started singing solo due to increased request from churches and other events. Hunter has had the opportunity to open concerts for such great groups as Gold City, The Kingsmen, Down East Boys, Dixie Echoes and others

Hunter has won international and national awards singing, however awards is not his primary goal in life.  Hunter believes the greatest award is having his music touch the heart and drawing people to Jesus through his music.  Hunter loves to sing but he also has a passion for preaching God's word and has churches that have requested he sing and preach the service at their churches.

Hunter is committed to his singing and encourages other young people to share their talent by singing at every opportunity that comes their way.

After graduation in 2017, Hunter plans to continue singing and to make music his career.
