About Us    The Voice He Hears

The Voice He Hears is a Gospel Television program filmed, edited and aired in Nashville Tennessee through Access Nashville Channel 19 on Comcast Cable and the 19 Middle Tennessee counties through AT&T U-Verse Cable.  Each episode can also be viewed on YouTube via the Music City Gospel Review site or by going to the Nashville Education, Community and Arts Television website necatnetwork.org.

Our producer, Mike Jennings, hosted the popular show “Singer Songwriter Etc” for 11 years, then in 2008 decided to position himself on the other side of the camera. He created “Nashville Spotlight”, which today is a popular youth program.  This program features performers both teen and preteen from all over the USA and Canada.  Since the show’s start, hundreds of young performers have followed their dreams by appearing on TV in Nashville.

In November 2009, Nashville Producer Mike Jennings felt the tug to do a Gospel program and Music City Gospel Review emerged.  Then Mike started looking for the right person to bring the show into reality.  ReNay Lee from Canton GA was the person who could make the show a reality with both her personality, and her vast knowledge of Gospel Music.  Mike and ReNay put the idea in motion and Music City Gospel Review rolled cameras for the first time in January 2010. Staff Photographer & Graphics Artist John Matthews quickly joined the team along with the camera crew already helping with Mike’s other show.

As we move into our new season we welcome two new hosts,  AJ Vissage from Oglethorpe GA and Chris Perdue, a West Virginia boy now living in Portland TN.  AJ left the show after a few months to work on a new album and further her career.  We have also started Christian Youth Program Co Hosted by Hunter May, McKay Medders and Vernon Eric.

We have created a new show, Isle of Hope, to help bring to light the issues that the youth of today encounter.  Isle of Hope is a variety show with jokes and fun skits, but also has a very serious side that touches some of the destructive decisions our youth must face each day.

We will be adding photos of our camera crew that give their time as volunteers to make all of these shows possible.  Clint Motsinger, Jonell Polansky, P.E. Marker and JR Garza all give time each taping to help with the sets and run cameras.

John works with all three shows to create graphic items for banners and sites.  Both John and Paul take pictures during our tapings

On Aug 7th 2015 we changed the name of our Television program from Music City Gospel Review to The Voice He Hears.  This change was accomplished to distinguish our program from several others with similar names.  We were also able to consolidate all our social media under one name.

We're now filling the airwaves of Nashville on Comcast Cable and reaching all of middle Tennessee through AT&T U-verse.
